Photographer DR Goff visits hometown

Legendary Columbus "photographer of the stars"in the 80s and 90s, and now residing in New mexico, Gentelman/rancher DR Goff came to town to visit with old friends. Lynn and I held a little get-together in his honor and Mark Berger took these photos:

ACME ART COMPANY hosts a chili cook-off and concert during
GALLERY HOP on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at its new space in the Short North! Entertainment begins at 8 PM featuring local favorites THE SPIKEDRIVERS, HAPPY CHICHESTER and GREENHORN – Acme Art’s House Sound will be spin between sets.
The cook-off tasting begins
at 6 PM. Ballots must be entered by 8 PM. $7 chili tasting/ballot and music- $5 music only! Kids FREE! Chili Winter Night will benefit Acme Art Company.

Five Day Festival Program
Thursday March 10 – Home Theater Series
These intimate screenings will be held in home theaters throughout Columbus, where each host will select a film and accompanying program of his or her choice.
Friday March 11 – All-Day Seminar Series
The educational symposium brings together national filmmakers and scholars to discuss a special theme from this year’s Festival.
Saturday March 12 – Cinema Spectacular
This screening is the CJFF’s premiere event, featuring 3 films from around the world, DJs, hors d’ouvres, drinks and an opening party you won’t forget.
Sunday March 13 – Stand Out Films from Other Festivals
This day long event will feature favorite films from Jewish Film Festival across the country.
Monday March 14 – International Films
Closing event, highlighting Jewish fillms from around the world.
The Columbus Jewish Film Festival is committed to enriching the cultural arts community across Columbus. Each day’s program will feature multiple screenings at prestigious venues throughout the city including the Arena Grand and Drexel Theaters, CCAD’s Canzani Center and the Columbus Museum of Art.
