Adam and Katie Wedding - Sunday October 18

Lynn and I are happy to announce that my youngest son Adam Einhorn (at age 28 he's too old to be referred to as my baby son) is getting married to Katie Chio this Sunday and we are excited. They've known each other for over 8 years and have lived in the house they bought for the past 2 years. So it's not exactly a surprise. But itwill be a swell party. Friends and relatives are coming from all corners of the world to gather for the event. Katie's dad is flying in from China today.
Our best wishes and a hearty Mazel tov to them.

Bread & Circus Theatre Company Looking for Performers

Bread & Circus Theatre Company is looking for performers for their Saturday Night Cabaret! The cabaret will feature coffee and desserts for our guests and the great atmosphere of the new Harmony Artistic Center (formerly the Tripleforce Artistic Center) just off Cemetery Road at 3979 Parkway Lane in Hilliard (behind Wendy's).

This month’s Cabaret Night will be held on Saturday, August 8th. The show will begin at 7:30 pm.

At this time we are inviting performers of all kinds to be included in the show. If you can sing, dance, tell a joke, or juggle - step up to the mic! If you have a monologue or small scene you've been working on and want to see how it would go over with a live audience - come on down. Other theatre, dance, music companies are welcome, as well as individuals of all ages.

All interested performers should contact Carolyn at ccstritzel@yahoo.com for more information or to book a time slot or two.

Bread and Circus Theatre Auditions for Cabaret Night

Hello all!
We have had our first successful Cabaret night and we are ready for more. The Bread & Circus Cabaret night at the Harmony Artistic Center will take place the second Saturday night of the month. We are currently booking performers for our July 11th & August 8th performances.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A SINGER TO DO THIS! You can do anything.
If you are available and interested in performing a song, skit, monologue or variety act please email Carolyn at ccstritzel@yahoo.com. We had wonderful performers for our first night and the audience wants more.
TRY OUT YOUR AUDITION MONOLOG! Tell a joke or two. Any SCHTICK is welcome!
If you have always wanted to perform but never had the opportunity - here's your chance. If you are a local actor or performer, please think of this as a showcase for you to introduce yourself to the arts community of Columbus. At our first Cabaret Night, we had directors from 4 different local theatre companies in attendance.

Walk Now for Autism, October 12

This note came to me from my son's wife Christina. Aaron and Christina's daughter Cordy, who just turned 4 last month, is one of millions affected by autism, that mysterious and - s0 far incurable - developmental disorder. Cordy attends a special education program that has helped her tremendously. She is, of course, my beautiful, smart, sweet, kind and very polite grand-child, whom I adore. Research appears to be the best hope for combating this. (I think it's caused by millions of tons of pollutants we've dumped on this planet in the past 100 years!)
Cordy's parents are participating in a
Walk Now for Autism event on October 12. They are hoping to raise money to be used for research. Please help. Read below for details. -charlie

Charlie,

Aaron and I are participating in Walk Now for Autism on Oct. 12 for Cordy. As you may know, autism is the second most common developmental disorder in the United States affecting one in every 150 children born today. Despite some promising discoveries, the cause of autism is unknown and a cure does not exist. Research is crucial.

Cordy has already benefited from the research that has been done so far, but she has a long way to go still, and is depending on further advances in therapy and genetic research for her own success in life. We are committed to making sure she has the best chance at a "normal" childhood.

Walk Now for Autism is our chance to make a difference in the fight against autism by raising money for autism research and heightening public awareness. Please join me in my fight as I raise $ 250 to help fund essential research. I will be walking on Oct. 12 and would like you to support those affected by autism.

You can donate to Walk Now for Autism and join my team online through my webpage at http://www.walknowforautism.org/columbus/personal/cmc. Donations can also be mailed to Autism Speaks using the donation form located on my page or send me a check made out to Autism Speaks. My team name is Cordelia, Warrior Princess; please note this on your check and the donation form.

Please join me in my fight against autism. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the more than 1 million Americans living with autism today, including Cordy.

Sincerely,
Christina

Raconteur Theatre Debut

The message below invites you to experience a production by a brand new theatre company in Columbus. In the spirit of full disclosure, the second play of this two-play presentation is directed by my son, Aaron Einhorn. I saw the play last Friday, also to a full-house, and found it to be short, witty, well-written and well acted. I enjoyed it and recommend you see it for a fine evening of live entertainment.

Aaron Einhorn appearing in Control Cell - Oct 25-28; Nov 1-4

a note from my son Aaron:

Hey gang,

Just a reminder (or because I mistrust e-mail, in some cases, a first notice) - I'm in another show up here in Columbus – an experiment in un-scripted drama. (Not un-plotted, just un-scripted.) Imagine, if you will, a cross between "No Exit" and "The Prisoner," featuring a hopeless romantic, a nihilist, an opportunist and a paranoid delusional.

From rehearsals it seems like it's going to be really good, and a lot of fun (in a vaguely disturbing way.)

Tickets are based on a sliding scale of what you can afford between $8 and $16 dollars. We open on Friday, October 25 th, and run through Sunday the 28th , then the following weekend, starting Thursday, November 1, and going until Sunday, November 4.

The show will take place at "The Space" in Columbus, Ohio. Directions can be obtained at http://www.foolishbison.com/ .

You can purchase tickets in advance, but seating is all general admission, so get there early!

Feel free to tell friends, family or anyone else who might be interested.
